Which documents do I need to travel to an EU country?

If you are travelling to an EU country from Russia — e.g. from Kaliningrad to Poland or Lithuania — you will need the following documents:

  • If you are an EU citizen: an ID issued by that EU country
  • If you are a Russian citizen:
    • a valid internaltional passport
    • national visa or a valid residence permit issued by an EU country, for example a Blue Card EU

Tourist Shengen visa holders will not be allowed to cross the border.
